Making a paper lampshade? - paper lampshades

I have a screen with a paper nautical chart. (We have one, but it is broken!) No one ever has a screen role? I know there are computers, etc. available. There is someone out there have any tips or advice for me in this? All special kit better than another? (Or should I avoid heels?) Thanks for your help!
