Magtek card swipe, not working on new PC, which has USB KB but PS/2 port? - usb card swipe
Old computer has a keyboard port and works instantly. New PC has a port, but the keyboard is USB. Hardware manager shows no conflicts, and all accessories. Uninstall and reboot does not help.

Some keyboards do not have enough power in their USB port. Try plugging directly into the PC and see if that helps.
